The LCK 2022 Summer Season is the second split of the second year of Korea’s professional League of Legends league under partnership. Ten teams compete in a round robin group stage.

The LCK 2022 Summer Playoffs is the second split of the second year of Korea’s professional League of Legends league under partnership. The top six teams from Summer compete for prize money and Championship Points. The winner earns the title of Summer Champion and qualifies for the 2022 Season World Championship.

- All matches are best of five
- Winner qualifies for the 2022 Season World Championship
- Group Stage – June 15th – August 14th, 2022
- Double Round Robin
- Each team plays 18 matches
- All matches are Bo3
- 1st to 6th place will play the Playoffs
- 1st and 2nd receive playoff byes into the semifinals
- Playoffs – August 17th – 28th, 2022
- Single Elimination
- 1st placed team from group stage can choose the opponent from first round
- All matches are Bo5
- Winner qualifies for World Championship 2022
LCK Summer 2022 Playoffs Format
Only the top six teams from the ten franchised esports organisations playing in the LCK Summer 2022 split advance to the playoffs. The round they are seeded into depends on where they finish.
A single-elimination bracket with best-of-five games is used in the playoffs. The top two regular-season clubs (Gen.G and T1) will have a bye into round 2 of the competition.
The third seed takes on the sixth seed in round 1, and the fourth seed faces the fifth seed. The two round one winners are chosen by the first seed (Gen.G) to face them in the semifinals.
The winner of the playoffs earns a spot as the top seed in the LCK at Worlds 2022. Based on their performance, the remaining teams will be awarded championship points their playoff standing, which will decide if they earn a spot at the Worlds.
