Pulwama: Ramazana Educational and Charitable Society (RECS), a Kashmir based non-governmental organization distributed free medicines and essentials in several villages of Pulwama district on Saturday.
RECS foundation under the supervision of programme coordinator Aijaz Hameed, along with few volunteers distributed free medicines and daily essentials to people in different villages of Pulwama district.
The medicines and basic essentials were distributed in villages like Trichal, Hawal, Lasipora among the people in need and simultaneously were informed about the importance of maintaining social distance, washing of hands and sanitizing local areas to contain the spread of coronavirus infection.

Nisar-ul-Haq, a renowned journalist also participated as a volunteer in the drive.
In coming days the distribution of free medicines and essentials will continue to reach out the people in need, said Nisar-ul- Haq to The News Idea.
