Pulwama youth develop website “HELP HEARTS” dedicated to help poor and providing information regarding COVID-19

Youth from Pulwama district have developed a website dedicated to help poor and needy persons and displaying authentic information regarding novel COVID-19 disease.

Ishrat Ahmad Bhat, 27, hailing from Urichersu village of the district started the website http://helphearts.org and put it live on 12 April.

The website Help Hearts, features people to register as volunteers and help poor and needy persons during the present lockdown.

The website further avails the information of total number of COVID-19 patients in union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Information regarding the COVID-19 patients only rely on the data released by official twitter handles of Rohit Kansal (@kansalrohit69) (Principal Secretary Planning J&K), Department of Information & Public Relations, J&K (@diprjk) and Newspapers,’ Ishrat said.

“So far around 700 people have registered as volunteers” he said, adding that soon we will make groups who will distribute aid among the needy persons.

“The Help Hearts, is also in contact with Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) who are working on ground” said Ishrat, while requesting people to register as volunteers through this website.
